Volunteers Needed!

 

Join our Folsom Turkey Trot volunteer crew!

 

This event can not happen without the support of our volunteers.  We welcome volunteers from all parts of the community – teams, individuals, families, students, schools and businesses.  All volunteers will receive a commemorative t-shirt and goodie bag.  No prior experience is needed.

 

Service is part of the true spirit of Thanksgiving.  You can feel good knowing that you are helping promote healthy choices and fitness, while helping raise funds and goods for local charities.

 

Volunteers will be needed for:

Pre-registration

Race day registration

Race set up and tear down

Parking

Water stations

Course monitors

Finish line

Please send us an e-mail with your name, address, phone number and e-mail.  Indicate if there is an area that you would prefer to help out with, and we will do our best to accommodate.  Someone will get back to you within a few days of signing up.

 

 

 

If you would like to make a monetary donation, please make checks payable to Twin Lakes Food Bank.  The donation is tax deductible.  Their tax id# is 68-0225605.

If you would like to help organize a fundraising or collection center at your office, neighborhood, school, church, etc. please contact Dr. Todd at 916-606-3299.

While a portion of the proceeds of this race will go to the Twin Lakes Food Bank, they can always use more help.  We are helping collect food, clothing (especially blankets and sleeping bags) and monetary donations for the Twin Lakes Food Bank.  100% of all donations will go directly to Twin Lakes.  As the holiday season and winter approaches, the food bank is in need of help from the community. 

We will be having a food and clothing drive for the Twin Lakes Food Bank.  They are in desperate need for winter clothing, blankets and sleeping bags.  Please look through your closets and garages for items you may be able to donate and bring them to Race Expo or Ray Day
