While this is the second annual Folsom Turkey Trot, we are expecting over 2,500 participants and spectators from the Folsom and surrounding communities. Capitol Adventure is working closely with the city of Folsom’s “Get Fit” program and other local organizations to help bring the awareness of health benefits of exercise to the children of Folsom. We will be contacting all the schools in the area about how they can participate. We are also working with many local businesses and are very excited to make a difference in our community, while having fun with our friends and families. We have several goals for the Folsom Turkey Trot. * To provide a new Folsom family tradition. One that can be done together with our families, friends neighbors on Thanksgiving morning. * To provide a fun and healthy activity for people of all ages. * To donate a portion of the proceeds and 100% of all donations benefit local charities. * To create a community unity by getting businesses, schools, churches and neighborhoods to come together for one purpose. Our sponsorship program includes four levels of participation. Sponsorship benefits include logo placement on series marketing materials and clothing, race day promotional booths, distribution of product samples, and potential media coverage.
